Alli really really liked Nathan, but he didn’t notice. Lo and behold Nathan finally caught on and fell in love with her. And the rest is history!

LOL! That's the short version.

We met at bible study at West End Church in August 2025 and quickly became friends. Our friendship blossomed into a massive crush on my end (Alli), while I patiently waited for Nathan to catch on to how much I liked him. His kindness, curiosity, and love for the Lord was so apparent I knew he was someone special. With each Monday night bible study we got to know each other better, so much so a month and a half later we went out on our first date!

Our conversations came easily as we bonded over our love for pickleball, long walks, movies, and late night ice cream chats. Me and Nathans most favorite thing to do as we began dating was to simply enjoy each other's company as our dates ran hours without us noticing. It was inevitable that we fell in love in just the short five months of knowing each other.

We grew closer after Nathan's ACL surgery in January where we both learned what it truly meant to be gentle and lowly in heart (Matthew 11:29). It was then I knew I had to marry him!

Because West End Church is part of our origin story and means so much to us, Nathan decided to pop the BIG question there. It was magical and absolutely perfect! And now we are beyond excited to get married there, the place where we met, fell in love, got engaged, and will now become husband and wife.
